My name is Celso Silva; I was born in Rio de Janeiro on February 24, 1950. At 17 I entered the Preparatory School of the Army Cadets, in Campinas, Sao Paulo, and after three years, went to the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras, in Resende, Rio de Janeiro, I graduated in December 1973. I followed a military career and retired as a colonel.
Six months before I retire, I met a job opportunity that was all I wanted at that time: Distant Executive. It could work in my own home, without leaders and without employees; Furthermore, I would determine my own targets, according to the speed I wanted to growprofessionally. One thing that attracted me a lot in this opportunity was the possibility ofpart-time career, a career was an experience I had of the Army and I enjoyed a lot.
In April 2002, I began a new activity, working evenings and some weekends, because I was still in the Army. I turned my apartment into an office, without change or buy anything, because I had a telephone and a computer with internet access.
The presence of a mentor was one thing that really facilitated my work; a mentor is a person with more years of experience trained to drive me safely, even at a distance.
Once started, were placed at my disposal, tools that generate new people interested in what I was doing; so I did not have to waste time with people who were just curious or negative people. Convincing someone would be the last thing I would do; I had the trauma of vendors that are pushing against something you do not want.
The only thing I needed was my will to work on a schedule that once used to watch television or other entertainment; everything was ready!
Today, I still have my house as a strategic location and have total control over the time that I use for my business.
Do you know someone who might be interested in knowing a project like this? Distant Executive?
