A dog survived after being buried alive by the owner in the city of Novo Horizonte, São Paulo. The animal was saved by a neighbor who rescued it on Wednesday (7), 12 hours after the dog had been buried in the backyard of a home. The information is from Good Morning St. Paul.
The dog was referred to a veterinary clinic, after a complaint to the Animal Protection Association. He is in no danger of dying, but can get boring in a blinded eye. Veterinarians found that the animal suffered from abuse and is malnourished.
The owner will be investigated for the crime of animal cruelty, but was not arrested.
